== History ==

DHR.Mike has been in Argonath since March 2008 where he started off as a new player. At the time, his first ever name was '''DHRharccore'''.

The philosophy behind the name was about a music website that which he was developing to listen to hardcore music, information about hardcore music and to share experiences of hardcore music with other people.

When he first spawned at Verona beach, he headed towards Conference Center just outside of Market where [Rstar]Austin was chasing a suspect.
Mike helped the officer by blocking the suspect in and hit him in order assist the police. He accidentally killed the suspect and got arrested by [Rstar]Austin. After he got jailed, Austin explained the server rules and how to be a cop on the server.

Note: [Rstar]Austin was known as '''Austin_Powers''' in 2008.

In 2008, DHR.Mike got accepted into SAPD and stayed at officer. He served the SAPD for 6 months until he resigned.
He pursued a criminal life. He started off in Richman family which ran out of Palomino Creek, Red County.
The group was started by 2 friends around the time when Mike left SAPD. He became one of their first members and was then known as '''DHR_Richman'''.

Due to Mike's inspiration, he quickly got moved up to Co-leader of the Richman family. A few months after being a Co-leader of the Richman family, complications happened with the other Co-leader of the family. Due to the complications which happened, the other Co-leader left the family as he didn't treat Mike as an equal.

That Co-leader returned back into the Richman family. He still didn't treat Mike as an equal and therefore Mike left the Richman family. As soon he left, the Richman family started to die and eventually closed. It took around 2 weeks after Mike's departure for the family to die.

Thank you for reading this guide, this guide is written for trial moderators so they can read about the rules and commands we use, but it will also be useful for existing admins to refresh their knowledge. Because admins are human too, they will act differently from one another when dealing with similar situations. Therefore we don't expect or want every admin to do the job exactly the same; every admin will find his or her own style. Despite this, it is important that we all follow some basic procedures to ensure consistency and avoid confusion.

Admin rights on Argonath RPG are a privilege that is reserved for the most deserving and competent members of our community, keeping the server secure from rule-breakers is often hard work. Admins should be calm and patient even if they are on the receiving end of abusive language. If you are struggling you should ask another admin to help you, if you feel yourself getting angry and wound up, you should leave server and calm down. If you don't feel in the mood to carry out the demanding work of administrating the server, or in particular if you are intoxicated, you must not go online.

In addition to maintaining the security of the server, admins are expected to help players and respond to reports. If you want to play without disturbance, you must log on to a separate account that has no admin rights. When you are logged into your admin account, you must be active and not away from keyboard for extended periods. If you know that you will be AFK for more then 5 minutes, please log out.

When you think a player is using cheats or you see a report about player using cheats you should investigate it immediately. Use /spectate to see where the player is and what he does. Money hackers are noticed easily with the cash imbalance warning; however you should not take action immediately but investigate what happened. Health cheats are also easy to notice with the /sslap (silent slap) command, be sure the player isn't AFK. Weapon cheats can be identified when a player has just spawned and does not have the regular weapons. Teleport cheats, Speeds cheats and Flying cheats can be noticed by spectating the player, as well as the Gravity cheat.

When you are not sure about the cheats, try to ask the players themselves. Moderators can't ban players directly, but they can help with investigating so use the above methods and then liaise with other admins to pursue action. If you cannot obtain assistance from another admin, use /ajail and they can be banned when another admin is available. When there are no admins online, kick the player and post a message with their username, the date and time and reason in the "Pending Bans" section on the forums.

Argonath is not a deathmatch server and deathmatching is forbidden. However as part of role-play sometimes killing is inevitable, for example during a bank robbery or a kidnapping. Argonath encourages role-play so it is important to be able to recognise the difference between a deathmatch kill and a role-play kill.

If a new player is deathmatching, it is probably because he doesn't know the rules and it is your job to educate him. You have a number of tools at your disposal and you should learn which ones are appropriate to use, for example for a first offence it is not appropriate to kick a new player before other methods have been exhausted, this involves talking with the player and using the /warn command. You can inform the player of the rules in several ways, using the command /crimson [player ID] tells the player that Argonath is not a deathmatch server. If you need to get their attention, you should use /freeze to stop them from moving and make the player more likely to read the chat, after you have finished talking with the player remember to use /thaw [player ID] to allow him to move again. If the player continues to deathmatch, freeze them again and issue a warning by using the /warn command. Talking to them by sending them a PM is usually effective so utilise this too, when dealing with a player you should inform your colleagues in admin chat.

Another command which you can use when a player continues to break the rules is /ajail, this command will send the player to jail for the amount of time you specify, 30 seconds is usually enough time to get the message across. In the event that all of the above has failed you can remove the player from the server by using /kick [player ID]. Remember when you take action against a player, always specify a good and valid reason.

If a player is being abusive towards another player or flooding the chat, it is your job to stop this. Your first action should be to simply tell the offending player to stop, if they continue you should mute them using the /banana [player ID] command. Tell them what they did wrong (in chat or PM) and remove the banana. Again, if they continue once you have unmuted them, you can mute them for a longer period. Finally, when the above has failed, kick them from the server stating a clear reason.

We only allow English to be used in public chat, however if a player doesn't understand English it is unlikely he will recognise this rule. Remember, poor English is still English, we do not expect players whose native tongue is not English to have a perfect grasp of the language. If after attempting to help a non-English speaker to understand the rules he continues to speak in public chat in a foreign language you may have to remove him from the server.

Languages other than English may be used in all other channels; the rule only applies to public chat.

Carjacking is prohibited. If you receive a report of carjacking you should spectate the reported player. If you witness him carjacking you should /freeze him and use /ejectout [player ID]. The player will be ejected out and automatically warned. Allow the player who had his vehicle jacked to reclaim it before /thawing the carjacker. Even though he has been automatically warned you should inform the player that carjacking is forbidden and then /thaw him.

It is worthwhile to spend time talking with a new player, answering his questions and offering guidance. It is not necessary to hold their hands or give them money, it is better to allow them to make mistakes as long as you ensure they learn from them. Some new players will continue to break the rules, in this case you will need to escalate your action by utilising the commands available to you. Long-term regular players are expected to follow the rules at all times and set a good example to new players, however sometimes they too will break the rules and when they do you should not take the same lenient approach you do with new players.

It is currently the dominant criminal force in the area, and has been essential in populating San Fierro. Their headquarters is a former Federal Mint building located in [[Queens]].

In addition to their assets in San Fierro, Gvardia also control an amount of profitable businesses located in [[Las Venturas]], including but not limited to casinos. Gvardia is also home to The Gvardia Bank, one of the largest player-backed monetary organizations in Argonath.

Gvardia is one of the top five criminal organizations on the server, and is also one of the Official groups. Its motto is ''"Caput magnitudo qui vi populor omnigenus"'', which means ''"The main power that will crush all"''.

The family also managed to obtain two oscars for best criminal group in 2009 and 2010.

Whilst it only contains eight out of the city's sixty five neighborhoods, the Dukes neighborhoods themselves are large, thus the borough is large, being equal in size, if not, slightly larger than its neighboring borough [[Broker]].

Dukes consists of 8, large, heavily-populated neighborhoods and has the second-highest population behind Algonquin.

The character of Dukes varies considerably across its neighborhoods. It has the most green space out of all the boroughs in Liberty City which is particularly concentrated around the districts in the north of the borough such as Meadows Park, and western parts of Francis International Airport.

The income of Dukes itself overall could be described as middle class, as it also could be considered the most suburban out of all four boroughs. The main urbanized district of the borough is East Island City which is centered around the Dukes Boulevard thoroughfare. It contains both modern business land use. It consists of a Bank of Liberty chain, the National Union of Contemporary Arts and the LC24 Tower in addition to declining industrial areas in the neighborhood's southern reaches, where it merges with Broker. Charge Island is Dukes' other industrial centered local. Commercial shopping areas are centred around Camden Avenue in Cerveza Heights, where the majority of shopping outlets are independent ethnic businesses, as well as Saratoga Avenue in Willis where there is a Shopping Mall as well as the presence of chain business outlets. Cerveza Heights can be considered the neighborhood of central importance in Dukes, with the presence of the borough's medical and policing services on Livingston Avenue as well as the housing of Huntington Street LTA, an important Subway station providing a crossover interchange between the two loops of the 3/8 Broker Line.

Some parts of Dukes could be considered leafy, quaint and expensive suburban locales. These are mainly focused around Willis, Meadow Hills, Meadows Park. Dukes' only housing projects are the Steinway Projects which are located along Yorktown Avenue in Steinway, a working-class neighborhood.

Francis International Airport is Dukes' and Liberty City's largest district, and obviously serves as the center for aviation in Liberty City.

The borough shows evidence of much multiculturalism. The communities often noted for a strong ethnic identity in Dukes include: Irish/German Steinway, Italian/Hispanic/Chinese Cerveza Heights and Jamaican/Caribbean Willis.

According to the TV documentary on the history of Liberty City, Dukes is a shortened version of "dookie" (slang term for feces) because most of the residents there "smelled like shit." Most avenues in Dukes are named after famous American military battles, such as Bunker Hill Avenue, Inchon Avenue and San Jacinto Avenue, though Battle of San Jacinto was fought by the Texans before America acquired Texas in the early 19th century.

It is situated to the south of the borough of Dukes and connected to Algonquin by the Broker and Algonquin bridges. Broker and Dukes are the only boroughs in the metropolitan area that share an island. Waters separate all other boroughs.

Broker is located south of the borough of [[Dukes]], on the southern half of the island located in the eastern part of the city. Broker is primarily an industrial portion of the city, made up of factories, warehouses and brick townhouses, many of which are dilapidated. The borough's population consists largely of ethnic gangs, hipsters, and industrial workers.

Broker's central business district is its Downtown neighborhood, which is a successful business district beside Outlook Park with tall buildings. Broker is still a very poor borough shown in other areas though, as it was from the beginning; around BOABO and Schottler there are many hobos. In Hove Beach there are many Russian thugs with weapons hanging around.

Broker has a very large diversity in the characters of various districts, as like real-life Brooklyn. The western districts (East Hook, BOABO) are gritty, run down and industrial, however in some cases gentrification is common. In other districts, like Outlook, Rotterdam Hill and South Slopes, a diverse, upper and lower middle-class population of yuppies, immigrants, businesspeople, working-class and hipsters resides, There are also districts with their own individual, ethnic minority identities, these include: Hove Beach, Firefly Projects, Schottler & Beechwood City. The borough also offers areas with important uses, such as a business district and urban center: Downtown Broker, Firefly Island and an affluent, gated, residential area for some of Liberty City's wealthiest: Beachgate.

According to the TV documentary on the History of Liberty City, Broker is named after Sir William Broker III, the (fictional) illegitimate son of the King of Great Britain. Most streets in Broker are named after famous cowboys, such as Hickcock (sic) Street and Earp Street, while most avenues are named after Native American tribes of the Northeast, such as Mohegan Avenue, Seneca Avenue, and Mohawk Avenue.

'''Bohan''' is one of the five boroughs in [[Liberty City in 2008|Liberty City]]. It's the smallest major island in the state, only containing 7 of the city's 65 individual neighborhoods with only four accessible businesses. Bohan is located in the north-east of Liberty City.

Bohan in terms of financial state is poor and the most deprived of the five boroughs in Liberty City. It mainly consists of run-down housing projects and derelict squalor housing. South Bohan and Fortside are the best examples of this type of location. Whilst there is often evidence of gentrification in other deprived districts across Liberty City there is very little evidence of it in these neighborhoods. Though Fortside is of also Bohan's largest but still small sized commercial district.

Chase Point and Bohan Industrial generally consist of abandoned warehouses and archaic docking facilities, serving as Bohan's declining industrial districts. Prostitution is very common in these districts, far more so than anywhere else in Liberty City. Street prostitutes can be found congregating on many street corners during the nighttime. Also, at night, muggers and street thugs will roam freely.

Northern Gardens is a slightly less deprived area with considerable green space and a beach in its northern limits, there still, are many Homeless People that thrive on it. It provides Bohan's Policing and Medical Services. The major function of the neighborhood is its housing of the Northern Gardens Projects which is one of Liberty City's largest housing estates. The projects' main complex shows signs of gentrification with the presence of small convenience shops and comparatively modern housing facilities. The police station is directly connected to Northern Gardens Projects by means of a short staircase, presumably to allow for an improved police presence and more effective response to crime.

Boulevard is Bohan's largest district and contains considerable parkland, green space and a beach in its northern limits. Boulevard is the safest and least deprived of the seven districts. The areas to the south of the district are more urban in character and are focused around the Grand Boulevard thoroughfare. Little Bay is in the east of Bohan and is the borough's smallest locale. It contains low-rise apartment housing and could be considered one of the borough's safer and less deprived areas.

The population of Bohan are mainly of a Hispanic-Spanish nationality; this population trend is particularly concentrated around Puerto Rican South Bohan and Dominican Fortside. Other ethnic enclaves include the predominant African-American demographic of Northern Gardens and an Eastern European Albanian presence in Little Bay, as there is also to have been and still currently known presence of the Italian Mafia.

Downtown Algonquin and Midtown Algonquin hold the city's skyscrapers, some world famous. Algonquin is the most densely populated area in Liberty City, and is known to be the center of finance and economy. Recently, it is suggested that Algonquin has surpassed London as the "Financial Capital of the World".

Algonquin is a major commercial, financial, and cultural center. Most major radio, television, and telecommunications companies are based here, as well as many news, magazine, book, and other media publishers. Algonquin has many famous landmarks, sightseer attractions, museums and theater shows . It is also home to the headquarters of the Civilization Committee. Algonquin is the largest central business district, and is the site of both The Exchange financial district and a Midtown based stock exchange, BAWSAQ.

Algonquin is the home to the largest number of corporate headquarters in the nation. It is indisputably the center of Liberty City and the Liberty metropolitan region, holding the seat of city government, and the largest fraction of employment, business, and recreational activities. Financially, itself overall is upper class, as the wealthiest borough in the whole city and area in the entire game, still however, with some deprived areas working on gentrification.

The borough is spread across 3 separate islands. 27 of its 29 districts are located on the main Algonquin Isle, whilst the Happiness Island neighborhood is located on the island of the same name and the Colony Island district is positioned on its eponymous island.
