Calling someone

• Type /call [number]
  • Look at "Managing devices" if you own more than one cellphone
    
    
• You may now wait for the person to answer the phone by typing /pickup
  • Or simply type /hangup if you are tired of waiting
    
    
• Once the person you are calling pick up his phone the server will automatically switch your chat mode to the phone conversation
  • That means anything you type on the chat window will be sent only to the player you are talking to
    
    
• You may also call public services like 911, look at the examples below
  • /call 911 My car is on fire (This will alert medics, firemans and cops)
  • /call mechanic (Alerts all mechanics in game)
  • /call taxi (Alerts all taxi drivers in game)
    
    
• Calling public services will automatically trace your location and cellphone number
  
  

Sending SMS

• Get a cellphone
• Use /sms [number]
  
  

Using CB radio

• Type /joinchannel [a channel number 2 - 30000) to turn your radio on
  • If you have more than one CB you may use /joinchannel [chnl number] [cb item id]
    
    
• Check who is listening to this radio frequency by typing /cbusers
• Then use /cb [msg] to talk
  • You may also use /chatmode [cb] to talk directly on the radio without using /cb
    
    
• In case you get bored of listening people talking, you can turn it off by using /cboff [cb item id]
  
  
• *NEW*
  • The /area command is now available. It allows you to track everyone in the same CB frequency.
    
    

Joining a second CB

• Buy another CB
• Use /joinchannel [channel number] [cb id in you invent]
• now if you talk you will use automatically the first cb. To change use

/setdefault cb [cbID in your invent]

Managing devices

Using /setdefault [phone or cb] [item id] will define which phone or CB the server will use for /call or /cb

Examples:

• Defining a default phone
  • By using /setdefault phone 2 the server would use the cellphone with number 20004 for everytime I use /call
• Defining a default CB
  • By using /setdefault cb 4 the server would use CB on frequency 333 everytime I use /cb (applies to /chatmode)
    
    
• Using a default item won't disable others, that means you will still be able to get phone calls on every phone you have

Adding an alarm system to your house

• First you may buy an alarm at any business that sells electronics
• Then use /storeitem [alarm item id] at your property
  
  
• Now that you have an alarm you will be alerted everytime someone uses /enter at your property
  • Invited people won't toggle the alarm

Using a GPS

The examples below will add a red X blip on your map
