User:Mex

Mex was one of the first Developers of the Argonath VC:MP community. Working initially alongside Watti, Mex programmed the majority of the first stable script release for the VC:MP server known as "v1.1", which would be in run for several years before being updated. Lasting from late 2007 all the way to mid 2010, v1.1 became somewhat legendary to many of the veterans deriving from the VC:MP community during those years.

v1.0/1.1 was created using mIRC, very similar to that of MTA:VC's scripting style at the time. At the early stages of the development, Mex worked alongside Watti. Both Mex and Watti were chosen to work on the project by Aragorn. PiMP was also later brought in at the later stages to help out. Once v1.0 was released in September 2007, Iceboy took over from Watti and helped Mex further develop the scripts. Mex and Iceboy completed and released v1.1 two months later in December.

Beside Watti and PiMP, Mex was chosen as one of the first administrators of the Argonath VC:MP community. After the release of v1.1 Mex officially became the VC:MP Manager with IceBoy taking up the same position alongside him. They together assigned the first batch of administrators for the VC:MP server, including: Jnn, Bio, Watahell, GoodBlue, Klaus, and Solidje.

During his time on Argonath, Mex also ran his own clan together with Watti known as New Skills. The clan had large success for several months, having well known members such as PiMP, Iceboy, Bio, Hess, Lionz, and BiteMe, just to name a few. NS were labeled as one of the three clans (R* and TCL being the others) mainly associated with the development and BETA testing of the VC:MP server at its early stages (v1.0/1.1).
