  • Note that a passport and driving license are required to buy a vehicle.
  • Note that your vehicle will spawn where you leave it. /savecar is only used for saving colors and tunes to a vehicle.


Buying a vehicle

  • Visit a dealership. You can find different dealerships in your GPS under the category 'Dealerships'.
  • Enter a vehicle you like and type /purchaseinfo to see details about the vehicle, such as the price, name, fuel type, and kilometers driven.
  Vehicle: Sabregt2 (793), Price: 1000$  
  Fuel type: premium gas  
  Kilometers driven: 36.2  

  • If you are no longer interested, use /getout to get ejected from the vehicle.
  • If you are still interested in buying the vehicle, use /buyvehicle.
  • You now are the owner of the vehicle. Don't forget to /carlock the vehicle so it does not get stolen.


Importing a vehicle


  • Note that importing vehicles are more expensive than buying one from a dealership.
  • If your favorite vehicle is not available at your local dealership, try checking out other dealerships. Still not available? Import one!
  • Travel to the Los Santos City Hall and walk into the red marker. As soon as the GUI box opens, click 'Vehicle importation'.
  • Select the genre you would like to import a vehicle in.
  • Scroll down to your favorite vehicle and use /importvehicle.
  • If you are sure you would like to import this vehicle, type /importvehicle again.
  • You are now the owner of the imported vehicle. Use /gps mycar to find where is it. It spawns automatically in front of City Hall.


Selling your vehicle


  • Use /purchaseinfo - To see the vehicle price before selling it.
  • Go to any dealership, use your /gps to locate any.
  • Use /sellvehicle - To sell the vehicle. You will receive the money that was shown in /purchaseinfo
  • Note; the vehicle price decreases depending on the kilometers driven.


Renting System


Renting a vehicle


  • Use /gps - To locate one of the rentals. Each rental has specified categories of vehicles that can be rented from. /gps shows to you each rental with the categories of the vehicles that can be rented from.
  • Walk into the red marker at the rental, a preview will appear for all available vehicles to rent from the rental.
  • Scroll down to the vehicle you wish to rent, use /rentvehicle to proceed.
  • A GUI will appear to choose how many hours you wish to rent, the price per hours will be shown in front of each.
  • Click on how many hours you want, then use /rentvehicle again.
  • The vehicle will spawn in front of the rentals.


Renting an aircraft

  • Use /gps - To locate aircrafts rentals inside Los Santos International Airport.
  • Walk into the red marker at the rental, a preview will appear for all available aircraft to rent.
  • Scroll down to the aircraft you wish to rent, use /rentvehicle to proceed.
  • A GUI will appear to choose how many hours you wish to rent, the price per hours will be shown in front of each.
  • Click on how many hours you want, then use /rentvehicle again.
  • The aircraft will spawn in front of the rental.



Stopping vehicle/aircraft rent


  • You can stop vehicle rent before the time expires by using /stoprent near or inside your vehicle/aircraft.
  • NOTE: you will not receive any money back, even if there are hours left for the rent to expire.
  • This action is IRREVERSIBLE.


Notes about rented vehicles


  • Make sure you use /carlock - To lock your rented vehicle/aircraft after renting it.
  • Make sure you fill up your vehicle/aircraft. All rented vehicles spawn with 50% of fuel.
  • You can use all commands on the rented vehicle with the same methods as you do for personnel vehicles.
  • You can NOT store the rented vehicle at your house.
  • Use /gps rent - To locate your rented vehicle.
  • You may only rent ONE vehicle at the same time.
  • You can view how much left for the rent to expire in your /invent in Vehicles section.


Transferring a vehicle


  • Note that transferring vehicles is fraud sensitive. Be careful!
  • Note that you do not gain any money with transferring vehicles.
  • It is also possible to transfer your vehicle to another player. Use the command /transfervehicle [playerID] to transfer a vehicle.


Editting your vehicle


  • Changing your vehicle color:
    • To see a full list of all available vehicle colors, visit RageMP Vehicle Colors IDs.
    • Visit a vehicle dealership.
    • There are two methods to paint your vehicle, choose the easiest for you.
      • /carcolor - To display a GUI where you can choose your main color, secondary, extra 1, and extra 2 colors. Use the arrows to navigate.
        • Backspace to close the GUI.
      • Use /carcolor [main color id] [Secondary Color ID] [extra 1 color ID] [Extra 2 color ID] to paint your vehicle. The four IDs should be inputted to get the vehicle fully painted.


  • Tuning your vehicle:
    • Visit a vehicle dealership
    • Use /tune and use your arrow keys to travel through the GUI.
    • Backspace to close the GUI.


  • Adding Liveries
    • Some supported vehicles can have different liveries added to it. Liveries can be found in /tune GUI too.
    • Use /livery [1-20] - To navigate between different supported Liveries.


  • Adding extras to your vehicle
    • /extra [1-20] - To add visual extras to some vehicles. It adds some missing components to some vehicles too.


  • Vehicle Neon
    • You are able to add neon colors for your vehicle, use /neon to set the color options.
    • Use /neon [on/off] - To turn on/off the neon colors.


  • Saving your vehicle editions
    • You should save your vehicle tunes, color, extras, and liveries before you log off otherwise the changes you made to the vehicle will not be saved.
    • Use /savecar - To save the vehicle changes.


Vehicle maintenance


  • Shutting your vehicle engine off/on:
    • It is possible to shut your vehicle engine off or on again. Use /engine.


  • Vehicle Lock System:
    • Enter your vehicle or stand near your vehicle and use /carlock to lock and unlock your vehicle.
    • If the vehicle is locked, players will not be able to enter as passengers.
    • If you own a CB channel you can also allow other players in the same channel to use your vehicle while it's locked. Use /carlock [cb channel number].


  • Switching off your speed-o-meter:
    • You are able to switch off your speed-o-meter using /speedo [on/off].


  • Fixing your vehicle:
    • Damages occur regularly. To fix your vehicle, drive to a vehicle dealership.
    • Use /purchaseinfo to see the reperation cost.
    • Use /fixvehicle and wait till the repairs are conducted.
    • It is also possible to let a mechanic fix your vehicle. Use /fixvehicle [mechanic id] to have a mechanic repair your vehicle.


  • Having your vehicle towed:
    • Note that this command costs $250.
    • Note that you will have to wait 100 seconds after destroying before you can call a mechanic.
    • Destroyed vehicles have to be towed to be used again. Call a mechanic and use /towvehicle [vehicleModelName] [mechanic id].
      • Vehicle Model Name can be found in your /invent.
    • Were you the owner of the vehicle? It will be towed to the vehicle impound at the Mission Row Police Department.
    • Weren't you the owner of the vehicle? The vehicle will be restored to the garage where /loadvehicle was used.


  • Filling up your vehicle:
    • Drive to any gas station. You can use /gps to find the nearest gas station.
    • Park near a fuel pump and check /pricelist to see a full list of fuel prices.
    • You can use /purchaseinfo to see what fuel type your vehicle uses.
    • Use /fillup or PRESS SHIFT and your vehicle will automatically fill up.
    • Note that your vehicle has to be standing still whilst filling up, or the fill-up process will stop.
    • Whilst filling up, you can step out of the vehicle and walk around whilst waiting.
    • You can also ask a mechanic to fill up. They always carry gas canisters. Use /fillup [mechanic id] to fill up using a mechanic.
    • You can also fillup from a mechanic who is inside a towtruck, use the same command. /fillup [mechanic ID]


Differences to an aircraft


  • Filling up an aircraft requires a different method than filling up ground vehicles.
    • Use GPS to go to 'City Hall Hangar'
    • Once arrived, use /fillup or PRESS SHIFT near the blue marker to fill up your aircraft.
    • You can fill up from a mechanic who is equipped with jerry cans or who is inside a tow truck. /fillup [mechanic ID]


  • Fixing an aircraft also requires a different method.
    • Use /purchaseinfo to see the reperation cost.
    • Use GPS to go to 'Pegasus Aircrafts'
    • Once arrived, use /fixvehicle near the blue marker to fix your aircraft.
    • You can fix your aircraft from a mechanic too, use /fixvehicle [mechanic ID]


Vehicle impound

  • Vehicle can be impounded if:
    • A vehicle is towed using /towvehicle.
    • No longer have access to the garage your vehicle was stored (example: sold house whilst vehicle is in garage).

  • The ground vehicles impound is located at Mission Row Police Department.

  • Retrieving your vehicle:
    • Travel to the impound location (/gps)
    • walk into the white marker, use the GUI to retrieve your vehicle.
    • You can also use the command /retrievevehicle.
    • Your vehicle will now be loaded. Do not forget to use /carlock to lock your vehicle once again.
