Legal Jobs
Legal Jobs can be done without drawing attention of the police. The income of legal jobs is usually sent directly to the bank.
Police
The Police job requires you to patrol the streets of Vice City and uphold the law. The job is subjected to an extra set of rules in order to avoid script abuse and/or inconveniences, so you should be careful.
In order to become a law enforcer, find a Police Station with a spinning star marker. You will then be prompted to a selection menu. Select ARPD Officer and choose your skin. You will then receive the standard ARPD Officer gear:
- a Nightstick
- a Colt .45 pistol
- a Pump-Action Shotgun
- 25 armor.
The gear can be replenished at any police station using the /restock command. You will also receive access to the police radio, which can be written in by using /r.
If you notice someone performing an unlawful activity, you should approach them and, depending on the situation, use the /sus <ID/name> <reason> command to issue an arrest warrant. Be on the lookout for suspects in Vice City! Use /wanted to receive a list of current wanted players. Suspects can be asked to surrender via the /sur command and, if they do surrender, brought to the Washington Beach Police Department and jailed using /jail <ID/name>.

Medic
The Medic job requires you to assist injured players and heal their wounds.
In order to become a paramedic, find a Hospital with a spinning pill marker. You will then receive a paramedic skin and five medkits that can be restocked at any hospital using the /restock command, as well as access to the paramedic radio, which can be written in by using /r.
See an injured player? Approach him and type /heal <ID/name>. The healing fee is $90 and must be paid by hand. The paramedic will receive $80. Healing someone will consume 1 medkit. You can check the amount of medkits left by typing /medkits.

Taxi Driver
The Taxi Driver job requires you to pick up fares from players and drive them to their desired location.
In order to become a taxi driver, you will have to go to Kaufman Cabs, which is located in Little Haiti. Once there, find a spinning shirt marker. Enter a cab and then find a player that needs transport. You will also receive access to the taxi radio, which can be written in by using /r.
When a player enters your cab, $1 will be added to the taxi fee each second for as long as the player is in your cab. The cash has to be paid by hand.

Pizza Deliveryman
The Pizza Deliveryman job requires you to deliver pizza around Vice City.
In order to become a pizza deliveryman, find a Well Stacked Pizza Co. Food Business in either Downtown, Little Haiti or Vice Point. Once there, find a spinning shirt marker. You will also receive access to the pizza radio, which can be written in by using /r.
Enter a Pizzaboy and check your radar for three pizza blips. These are places where you can pick up pizza batches. Pick up a batch and another pizza blip will appear. Deliver your pizza to the blips that appear. For each pizza delivered, you will receive a billed payment and a tip which goes to your in-hand cash. Eventually, you will run out of pizza to deliver. Return to any Pizzeria and, if you want to, type /billpizza to have the billed payment sent to your bank.

Illegal Activities
Illegal Activities usually draw the attention of the police. However, the monetary gains are slightly higher. The income of illegal work is given in the form of in-hand cash.
Vehicle Smuggling
Vehicle Smuggling can be done by visiting the crane in Vice Port, just south of the trucking depot. A spinning 'i' marker will be under the crane, which shows a list of available vehicles to sell on the black market.
Once you find a vehicle on the list, bring it to the crane and drive it into the marker: you will receive in-hand payment for it. Damaging the vehicle will lower the payment, so be careful when driving! Vehicles can be sold at the crane once every 24 minutes, as the list refreshes each day according to the in-game clock.
Vehicle Smuggling is an illegal activity, so watch out for cops! You will not be able to sell your car if a cop is nearby and chances are that you will be suspected for attempted vehicle smuggling.

Harpooning
In order to fish by harpooning, you will first need to buy a Harpoon from any Tools Business in Vice City that sells it. You are looking for Ogras: dark-red sharks that roam Vice City's waters.
Visit one of the two fish markets: either in Vice Port or in Downtown. Step into the blue marker to get the amount of Ogras sold recently and the current roaming area of the Ogra groups. Grab a boat and head to the area that was specified by the blue marker.
Once you see an Ogra, approach it and fire your harpoon at it. If successful, one Ogra will be added to your inventory. You can hold a maximum of 8 Ogras at once, so make sure that you sell them at the fish market when it is time!
The more Ogras recently sold, the lower the selling point. If the fish market is oversaturated, profit will be drastically reduced.
Harpooning is an illegal activity, so watch out for cops! If a cop sees you catching Ogras, chances are that you will be suspected for poaching.
