About The National Office of Security Enforcement

National Office of Security Enforcement or N.O.O.S.E. is a special forces group which specializes in counter terrorism and special military tasks. Its main target is to deal with dangerous terrorists and handle special operations which are deadly for LCPD police officers. As part of its job is to assist and help FBI and the LCPD to catch / arrest high-priority criminals. Their members are perfectly trained. They expend thousands of rounds, pass through extensive endurance tests, specialize in traveling on land, air, water, using of special weapons and devices. They also do undercover operations and infiltrate in different groups to get the most information about them.

Typical for them is to keep everything related to N.O.O.S.E. in secret and they are mostly aside of the public or media, except something big is going to happen and they need to warn their citizens or in a court case.

Duties

N.O.O.S.E. responds to the following situations;

• Hostage situations,
• Riot control; Perimeter security against snipers for visiting dignitaries,
• Providing superior assault firepower in certain situations, e.g. barricaded suspects,
• Rescuing officers or citizens endangered by gunfire,
• Counter-terrorist operations,
• Resolving high-risk situations with a minimum loss of life, injury, or property damage,
• Resolving situations involving barricaded subjects (specifically covered by the Tactical Response Unit),
• Stabilizing situations involving high-risk suicidal subjects,
• Providing assistance on arrest warrants and search warrants,
• Providing additional security at special events,
• Special stealth operations with silenced or suppressed weapons,
• Specialized combat patrols when there is a high crime rate in town,
• Providing assistance as required by ARPD Command,
• Special military covert or overt operations.

Divisions

Currently the National Office of Security Enforcement has two divisions. These are the following:

• Tactical Response Unit is a team of highly skilled and trained operatives, and a special division of the National Office of Security Enforcement that utilizes special weaponry in handling with terrorism and hostage situations, robberies, major criminal operations, and in general all high risk operations. They also respond to suspects fleeing in fast vehicles. They can be found driving fast vehicles aswell in order to stop the criminal.

• Crime Investigation Unit is a National Office of Security Enforcement sub-division, and it is focused on undercover operations, such as drug busts or preventing illegal arms deals, but also on gathering information. Its members will be picked from the rank of NOoSE Cadet and above in order to make the risk of information leak as small as possible. Once an applicant is accepted, he will be taught about undercover ways by CIU command. As was said in the beginning, CIU's main task is to gather information. Once enough information are gathered, they will be handed to the LCPD and/or the TRU sub-division which will take action. Detectives are tasked with investigations and interrogations. CIU will rarely be involved in a vehicle chase or a shootout.

Recruitment

The National Office of Security Enforcement may invite LCPD officers when they are suited enough to work in N.O.OS.E. They also open applications as soon as they feel they need new members in their boards on the main ARPD forum.
